Sleep apnea: Diet high in antioxidants can help reduce symptoms among women

Women with OSA are at an increased risk of cardiovascular diseases, hormonal imbalances, and mental health issues compared to men. In addition to using continuous positive airway pressure (CPAP) therapy, implementing dietary modifications can have a significant impact on improving symptoms.

The Vimla Vikas Kendra (Community Care Organization) of Rosary Church, Dockyard Rd. E., in collaboration with The Bombay Catholic Sabha, Rosary Church unit, organized a Health Camp that included ENT and Dental check-ups. Ninety-two people were tested and received their reports. The services were provided by Gleneagles Hospital, Singapore HO, with dentist Dr. Mishal D'Souza and ENT specialist Dr. Shruti attending to the needs of the participants. Additionally, Fr. Nigel Barett, the Parish Priest, visited the camp and blessed all those present.
